0.150 NAVAR Administration of Static Night Switch Option Data

When night service is in effect, an attendant group (ATNDGR) is represented by a night option. All calls to the attendant group are signalled on an available device that is allocated to this night option. The allocation of the devices to the night options is carried out by means of this AMO.
The feature "Centralized Attendant Services" also offers the option of assigning an attendant group to a night option (instead of a specific device). This attendant group can then function as a night switch for the entire attendant traffic of the ATNDGR which needs to be represented. An attendant group which takes on the duties of another attendant group is a "centralized attendant services group" (CASGR). A CASGR can be an ATNDGR within the same PABX (CASINT) or even within the same integrated network (CASEXT).
Thus, this AMO provides a range of night options, which can be identified by their option number. Using AMO VFGR, it is then possible to allocate up to 8 of these night options to each ATNDGR. The night option that represents a given ATNDGR when the night service is active can be individually defined via screen menu at an attendant console (ATND) in that ATNDGR.
A night option can assume the following configurations:

a) "None" Night Option (Dummy Option, Blank Option)
Only one option can be defined as a dummy option. It can be allocated to an ATNDGR as a night option if the particular ATNDGR does not wish to have night service.
b) Night Attendant Console Option
A night option can consists of up to 10 night ATNDs. These are night ATNDs that are specially created by means of AMO ACSU and cannot be used as day ATNDs. In this case, a night ATND can only be allocated to one night option. No other devices are permitted to be allocated to a night ATND option.
c) General Answering from any Station Option/ Universal Night Answer/
Night bell pick-up
Options of this type consist of exactly one device created especially for "general answering from any station" by means of AMO SSC.
d) Station Option
Options of this type consist of up to 10 assigned internal stations.
Incoming calls are allocated cyclically.
e) CASINT option
Options of this type consist of an ATNDGR in the same PABX as the ATNDGR to be represented, which is identified by its attendant group number (ATNDGR). An internal CASGR may only be assigned to one night option. However, an internal CASGR does not have to be assigned as such using the AMO VFGR, since its presence is not verified by this AMO.
f) CASEXT option
Options of this type consist of an ATNDGR within an integrated network, which is identified by its attendant group dialing code and the destination number of the PABX to which it belongs. An external CASGR may only be assigned to one night option. However, neither the attendant group dialing code (AMO VFGKZ) nor the destination number (AMO RICHT) must have been specifically assigned, since the presence is not verified by this AMO.
The parameter CD is need to enter a 22 digit number. For open numbering this number consits of the tie trunk access code and attendant code. For closed numbering the attendant code of the ATNDGR for the target switch is used. This identification number must exist in the digit translation as a digit analaysis = NETWORK along with the corresponding target number.

0.150.3.1 ADD-NAVAR

A night option is identified by its option number.

A maximum of 128 night options in total are possible.

 |,TYPE=CASEXT,CD=<number>;

0.150.3.2 CHANGE-NAVAR

By means of the function CHANGE NAVAR, it is possible to change a set of devices allocated to a night option.
A distinction must be made between two types of changes:

Change the Option Type
This corresponds to a complete redefinition of the night option and is therefore possible only by means of the DELETE and ADD functions.
Change the Set of Devices (for TYPE=STN,NIGHT only)
The parameter FUNCT is used to describe the type of change, i.e., it is possible to remove devices from the set (FUNCT=DEL) and to add devices to the existing set (FUNCT=ADD). In particular, by using FUNCT=DEL and by specifying several options for parameter NOPTNO, it is possible to search for a device within several options and to remove this device from all of them. This is necessary, for example, if the device concerned is to be cancelled.
In order to preserve the clarity, however, only several night options or several devices can be specified. It is also impossible to simultaneously add/remove several devices to/from several options.
If the number of night ATNDs of a night ATND option, which is allocated to an ATNDGR, is changed, then the night ATNDs are automatically activated when added (FUNCT=ADD) to the option, and deactivated when deleted (FUNCT=DEL).
If the first device in a night option assigned to an attendant group is deleted (FUNCT=DEL), the number of the new first device will be displayed at the ATND.

CHANGE-NAVAR
[NOPTNO=<number>],FUNCT=<param>

 |,TYPE=NIGHT,ATNDNO=<number>;

Example

Search all night options for station 3100 and remove it.

Input:

CHANGE-NAVAR:FUNCT=DEL,TYPE=STN,STNO=3100;

Note

In this case the NOPTNO is missing.

0.150.3.3 DELETE NAVAR

It must be noted that a night option to be cancelled must not be to allocated any ATNDGR (cancel by means of AMO VFGR, parameter NOPT1 - NOPT8).

Procedure Overview

Command Code

Parameter

DELETE-NAVAR
 NOPTNO=<number>;

0.150.3.4 DISPLAY-NAVAR

The function DISPLAY-NAVAR provides an overview of the devices allocated to the night options.
The attendant console group to which the option is allocated as a night option and group-specific night option number (NOPT) and name (NOPTNAME) under which it is listed there are also displayed.
The active night option of an ATND group is marked with an asterisk '*' (behind the group-specific night option number NOPT).
SG provides the number of the subgroup via which the night option is implemented internally (for traffic measurement).
